The 1460 boot now features a removable front zip and side zip for easy entry, while maintaining the iconic design and attitude of our Original. White Sendal leather with a smooth, full-grain finish and welted construction on our traditional outer sole, marked by the classic yellow stitch. This boot was first created on April 1, 1960 and has since become an iconic figure in footwear. Sendal is a semi-aniline, natural-looking nappa leather that is a key element in DM s construction. Our Original and recognizable sole is 1 1 8 inch high and has the traditional DMS tread pattern unique to Dr. Martens. One of our most flexible options, this sole offers both comfort and stability. Made with our Goodyear-welted lines, heat-sealed at 700˚C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch. Perfect for all feet, our standard last is recommended for average to wide width feet.
